Book Grant 2006

This year the Bessie Morris Foundation awarded a $250 Book Grant to 2005 Prom Night Dreams Winner Mercedes Cook to help fund her education at USC. This was made possible through the generosity of Brotherhood Crusade.

"I would like to thank you and the Bessie Morris Foundation so much for your generous gift towards my education. You have done so much to help me with high school activities and also with college that I feel I can't be thankful enough. I appreciate your care and concern and feel quite honored to have been the first person to receive a grant from the foundation. Thank you again for all of your help and if you need me for anything at all, I'll be more than willing to help, " said Mercedes Cook.
