First Aid & CPR Training

We are so excited that the CPR and first aid training was a great success.

On April 27, 2023, students at Audubon Middle School learned life-saving skills in CPR and first aid, such as calling 9-1-1 for help, performing chest compressions, and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). In addition, they learned to recognize different emergency situations and the skills needed to save the life of a person who is experiencing choking, external bleeding, a seizure, diabetes (low blood sugar) and puncture injuries.

The students were given a resource guide on first aid with additional information and techniques guiding them through life-saving skills. We are pleased to announce all twenty-three students will receive their certificate in CPR and first aid training. We would like to congratulate the students on a job well done!

We would like to take a moment to acknowledge and express our gratitude to the staff at Audubon Middle School. A special thank you goes out to Deanna Hardemion, Principal, Princess Aryee, Assistant Principal, and teachers Nicole Johnson, Restorative Justice and Ms. Doby Mathematics. We look forward to collaborating with you and your students again. On-site CPR Training facilitated the class
