Graduation Congratulations to Prom Dreams Alumnae!

The Bessie Morris Foundation is so happy to announce the graduation of Letisia Alvarado from University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in social welfare and psychology. Letisia has decided to continue her studies at University of Southern California (USC). She is working on her master's degree.

Letisia is one of the recipients of the 2006 Prom Dreams Program. She has volunteered her time with the Bessie Morris Foundation to help mentor our past young ladies with college skills. In fact, last year, Letisia was given an assignment to locate Rosa Hernandez and Patty Gonzales (Prom Dreams 2010 recipients) during their college tour at University of California, Berkeley, to inform them that they were selected for the prom scholarship. She has proven to be a great asset to us. She will always be special to the foundation and we are wishing her many blessings during her journey in life.
