Another Young Lady's Dreams Come True

The Bessie Morris Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making the Prom Dreams 2013 such a wonderful success. Your contribution allowed The Bessie Morris Foundation to be able to make another young lady’s dreams come true. This would not be possible without you and your support. We are forever grateful to you.

This year was a little different for the foundation; we only had ten applicants to apply versus 20 to 25 in years past. We were able to select one young lady, Noella Bih, from Leuzinger High School. Noella was invited to shop for her dream dress, shoes, and accessories at David’s Bridal in the city of Torrance and was treated like a princess. Also, she was given a voucher for her hair, manicure and pedicure and prom pictures to complete her prom scholarship. She was required to attend an etiquette class at Chili’s Restaurant.

In addition to the prom scholarship, we will be surprising Noella, the third week of August with items for her dorm as she begins her journey through school. At this time, she is now finalizing her plans for college. She will be attending the University of California, Merced majoring in Biological Sciences. I have enclosed a thank you letter from Noella, explaining, just how wonderful her prom night was because of you and your generosity.

Sincerely,

Ivory Freeman
